Vital Tea Leaf offers a modern take on traditional Chinese tea. The shop, modeled after a wine bar, offers complimentary tastings and a wide selection of over one hundred varieties of loose leaf teas from China and Taiwan, herbal infusions, and flower blossoms. The shop also sells a variety of glass, porcelain, and purple clay teapots and other tea accessories. It has been featured on international culinary and travel television shows, with a memorable appearance on "Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy," where Uncle Gee gave Larry an introduction to Chinese tea. The family-operated shop, led by Uncle Gee and Ming, travels to China annually to source tea directly from growers and vendors to bring back a variety of teas to suit different tastes, from Jasmine Pearl to Blue People Ginseng Oolong, and aged Pu-erh teas to help settle the digestive system after a meal.
