Vintage Berkeley specializes in bottling both small-production wines from all over the world as well as distinguished vintages from the United States. We bottle everything from the understated & polished to the provocative & vivid, from an everyday Merlot to your birthday bubbly, and our wines are all handpicked by our team members to encourage & delight.
Operated in a local decommissioned East Bay Municipal Utility District water treatment facility, the Vine Street shop opened for business in January 2005. Vintage Berkeley subsequently purchased Solano Cellars in October 2005 and opened its second location (on College Avenue) in Berkeley's Elmwood district in 2008.
My favorite wine shop is the most enjoyable one I have ever patronized.
