Donkey & Goat was acknowledged for its work in developing and passing on an ecological approach to winemaking. In 2004, the company was the first in the industry to introduce the method within the vineyard and cellar.
Donkey & Goat co-founders Jared Brandt and Tracey Rogers spent one year with renowned vintner Eric Texier in 2002, studying the art of creating natural wines in the Rhone Valley. They founded Donkey & Goat in 2004 in San Francisco.
