Red Blossom Tea Company, established in 1985, is the leading source of artisanal tea and teaware in San Francisco. We import our teas directly, traveling each year to the gardens where they are grown to ensure that we bring back only the best crops. We focus on provenance, variety, season and craftsmanship when sourcing our teas.
The company was founded by the Luong family in San Francisco's Chinatown neighborhood and was originally known as Yau Hing, meaning "to flourish again", a nod to the immigrant background of the community and the opportunity for a fresh start in the United States.
Even though our family business has evolved over the years, our commitment to sourcing the highest quality teas and teaware remains unchanged.
