Lovejoy’s Tea Room

About Lovejoy’s Tea Room

Kid-friendly spot delivering cups of tea & scones amid a flowery setting filled with bric-a-brac.

Lovejoys first opened at the corner of Church and 24th Streets in the early 1990 s, moving to its current location in 2000 at that address. Originally an antique shop that sold a good cup of tea, customers soon resorted to the tea more than the antiques, and that led to the tea room. Lovejoy's was named after author John Gash's series about an antique dealer named Lovejoy. The Lovejoy's team invites you to relax and enjoy the ritual of taking tea in a unique and unimposing setting. We believe our tea room reflects the diversity of San Francisco, blending together the traditions of tea service with an eclectic, quirky, and playful spirit.

Comforting low-key place for tea. The tea was excellent here!
